Woman Seriously Injured in Wreck.

Luann Allen of Grottoes, Virginia was badly hurt when an SUV ran a red light and hit her minivan last monday morning in Rockingham County east of Harrisonburg.

She was flown to UVA Medical Center with life-threatening injuries and was still in critical condition that night.

Police say Allen was driving her Nissan Venture north on US 33 when a Toyota 4Runner driven by Maria Balderas of Harrisonburg ran a red light and t-boned her automobile.

The minivan then hit a road sign that fell onto another vehicle.
