Gov. Kaine launches website for stimulus projects | Richmond Virginia Accident Injury Lawyer
The Petersburg Peoples News of Petersburg, Virginia has a new article entitled Gov. Kaine launches website for stimulus projects.
The site is stimulus.va.gov and it is designed to allow citizens of Virginia to have input onto the distribution of any federal funds that Virginia receives.
“While we wait to learn what conditions will be placed on the federal stimulus monies received by the states, we want to start collecting ideas from all over the Commonwealth to ensure the money is spent in a timely and effective manner,” Governor Kaine said. “Stimulus.Virginia.Gov will give everyone in the Commonwealth a forum to submit and exchange project ideas. Every locality and citizen has a stake in our economic recovery and should have a voice in deciding how this money is spent.”
The site is active and taking suggestions from individuals, groups and localities. O’Bryan Law encourages you to participate in this decision making process and to let your voice be heard. Post all of your suggestions to fix the things that are broken in your community.
