An accident on Monday morning on VA Rt 7 in Clarke County, Virginia left one dead and two others in the hospital.
The accident happened about 11:45 am on VA 7 near Chilly Hollow Road. A truck was turning from Chilly Hollow Road onto VA 7 when it was hit by a GMC SUV driving east on VA 7.
The driver of the truck was killed and two passengers in truck were seriously injured and taken to Winchester Medical Center.
None of the four people in the SUV were injured.
This crash is still under investigation and none of the victims names have been released yet.

Collision on Va. 7 leaves one dead
BERRYVILLE — One person was killed Monday morning after a wreck on Va. 7 set a truck on fire and sent two other people to the hospital, state police said.
Clarke County rescue companies responded to Va. 7 at Chilly Hollow Road about 11:45 a.m. The truck was turning from Chilly Hollow Road onto Va. 7 when it was struck by a GMC SUV traveling east on Va. 7, and the driver of the truck was killed, Sgt. F.L. Tyler said.
Police would not release the name of that person until his family could be notified.
Two passengers in the truck were taken to Winchester Medical Center with serious injuries. One was airlifted to the hospital, a Clarke County Sheriff’s Office dispatcher said.
Their identities also were not released Monday.
None of the four occupants of the SUV were injured, Tyler said.
The incident is still under investigation.
Clarke County fire and rescue companies from Enders and Blue Ridge responded to the crash, with assistance from the Clarke County Sheriff’s Office.
